Can you really say it is summer if you have not had a bottle of wine on the beach? Eh, I don’t think so! Do not worry! Searching for the perfect bottle of wine does not need to cost and arm and a leg! As beach season is officially underway, my wife and I love to take out favorite snacks with the best wines to the beach! The warmer months are finally here and with that includes loads of relaxation, different activities, and a ton of sunshine! I had the chance to try some of the best whites and rosé from Decoy Wines!
Decoy is one of the most popular wines from the state of California and they continue to live up to all expectations in the world of wine!
DECOY ROSÉ WINE:
The fresh, crisp, flexible style of a rosé can make the perfect day even better. The winemaker notes state “enticing aromas of pink grapefruit and fresh melon, along with hints of strawberry, orange blossom and guava. For me, the pale coral colored wine is quite tasty. I loved the tastes of strawberries and left me feeling balanced and light bodied.
DECOY CHARDONNAY WINE:
When the summer heat starts to get to you and you’re looking for the perfect drink – a white wine is pivotal. From the winemaker: the delicious bright and inviting Chardonnay offers layers of apricot, green apple, citrus, with hints of cinnamon and honeysuckle. We thoroughly enjoyed this one as it left our palette with a rich array of fresh and succulent fruit with a smooth resolve.
